Most of the times we see standard ready-mix concrete plants but they can also be modified to suit customer’s requirement.


The end product produced by a concrete batch plant is ready mix concrete. It is delivered to work sites by a transit mixer. The machine produces desired quantity of ready mix concrete as per the recipe required. It will mix aggregates, sand, water and cement to prepare ready mix concrete.


Ready Mix Concrete Process:

The concrete process of making ready mix plant is simple. We need to ready mix ingredients that make rmc into fixed proportions. To make small/mini ready mix concrete in large quantities. Atlas use a quality concrete batch plant. This is an automatic machine that is specialized in preparing different grades of concrete. The equipment has big and separate bins to store different aggregate sizes into different compartments.
These aggregates and sand are individually weighed one by one by the help of load cells and then discharged into a mixer along with water and cement. Water and cement is also weighed individually before they are introduced into the mixing unit. Mixing unit will mix all the ingredients for a specific time before discharging the same into a transit mixer.

  • Ready mix also known as truck mix

  • Central mix

Ready mix or truck mix is usually the dry type of plant. All the materials in the recipe are weighed before dispatch into the transit mixer. There is no provision to add water along with the addition of the above mentioned materials. Hence it is also called as dry mix plant. Water is added into the transit mixer at a later stage.

A central mix plant is the one where we mix all the ingredients including water. All the materials are weighed individually and then mixed into a mixer. The mixer can be of different types but the end result remains the same. After mixing the wet mix material will be dispatched into a transit mixer to be taken to work site.
